Apparently, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is living with this statement after an effort to bring its services closer to the townspeople of Lal-lo through establishing a Negosyo Center, launched last June 27 at the Lal-lo Multi-Purpose Hall.
A one stop-shop addressing the entrepreneurial needs of the people, the Negosyo Center will accommodate business registration, offer information and advocacy services, conduct monitoring and evaluation, and will entertain other needs and services essential to the growth of business sector in town, and other neighboring municipalities.
In a Memorandum of Agreement signed between the Local Government Unit through Mayor Florante C. Pascual and the DTI through Director Bernardino M. Mabborang, represented by Mr. Robert Pancha, the LGU will provide office space for said center, and the focal person will be upon the recommendation of the municipal mayor.
On the other hand, the DTI will provide office equipment for operation, and orient and compensate the hired focal person.
The center will start its operations immediately after hired staff formally assumes designation. #jencolumna
