Manuel de Guzman ng Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at Bishop Jose Tablit ng Tucalana Christian Fellowship.

Bidding farewell doesn’t mean the end. It just signifies a new and better beginning!
Apparently, the demolition of the Aladino Dupaya Sports Gymnasium cannot incite poignant expressions on the faces of Lal-loquenos as it beckons the construction of a new municipal gymnasium.
Started last March 12, the demolition of old structure is just a part of the Php62.5 M budget for the construction of a multi-purpose center, a would-be new site for municipal indoor gatherings.
According to Municipal Engineer Ronald Matas, the construction of the new Multi-Purpose Center replacing the almost-five-decade old gymnasium is realized after a Php50 M allocation from the General Appropriations Act (GAA) with a Php12.5 M counterpart from the Local Government Unit.
“…the amount came from the GAA through Sen. Jinggoy Estrada with the initiative of Mayor Florante C. Pascual…12.5 M came from the LGU as counterpart,” the municipal engineer stated in his report.
When finished, the Multi-Purpose covering a total of 2,925 square meters (45mx65m), will have a lobby area, 1 room [each] for tourism office, showroom, pump room, costume library, gym, 2, VIP lounges, 2 rooms [each] for administration,  locker, executive, function and for technicians, 3 storage rooms, 7 comfort rooms, and 13 rentable areas.
Enumerating the features of the center, the municipal engineer also indicated that the stage will be 18 m long and 6 m wide, enough to accommodate at most 100 persons at a time.
Targeted to be completed on August 28, 2018 after 900 calendar days, the Multi-purpose Center will accommodate approximately 3,000 people.#jencolumna
